The term "AO3ple" is pretty terrific, at least, and I hope it becomes as popular as it deserves. If it does, this wank will have a positive legacy after all!

Nope, but I think that's because "OT3" was a thing before AO3 and its pronunciation is clearly derived from "OTP."
(Though I have been known to refer to AO3 as AOOO, generally followed with a werewolf joke...)
The letter in the

of the word is what convinces my brain it's a Homestuck typing quirk, apparently.
