the joy and pain of a new fandom that's unfortunately very small

acquired two stunningly attractive new fandoms at [livejournal.com profile] mace_m's slash party tonight--one with a nice body of fanfiction by [livejournal.com profile] astolat and one* that, as far as i can tell, has no fandom beyond one unfinished story on adultfanfiction.net.  both elicited lots of squeeing, but the latter is now also eliciting ANGST because of this terrible need to read some.  i think i should just go to bed.  depressingly, i haven't done anything today except upload screencaps--well, i've read, but--i haven't accomplished anything.

*but come on, jean reno and vincent cassel--sweet and incredibly slashy, in a policey mystery environment.  although the plot is flimsy, silly and full of holes.

Yeah, Jean Reno & Vincent Cassel. With blood & fear & violence. Good plan.

The plot is fucking funny, but really if you want to know what full of holes is like, you should see the Crimson Rivers 2. Only, like, don't. Really.
