the joy and pain of a new fandom that's unfortunately very small

acquired two stunningly attractive new fandoms at mace_m's slash party tonight--one with a nice body of fanfiction by astolat and one* that, as far as i can tell, has no fandom beyond one unfinished story on adultfanfiction.net.  both elicited lots of squeeing, but the latter is now also eliciting ANGST because of this terrible need to read some.  i think i should just go to bed.  depressingly, i haven't done anything today except upload screencaps--well, i've read, but--i haven't accomplished anything.

*but come on, jean reno and vincent cassel--sweet and incredibly slashy, in a policey mystery environment.  although the plot is flimsy, silly and full of holes.

i've uploaded bunches to my lj pictures site here.

61 from 110 ("night, mother"), 90 from 113 ("tanglewood"), and 50 from 115 ("til death do we part").  caps are heaviest on danny and heavy on mac, with a little stella and almost no aiden (not to say i dislike aiden or anything, but i take enough caps as it is).

LILAH, I JUST NOTICED MAC IS WEARING A DIFFERENT LAVENDER TIE HERE IN "TIL DEATH DO WE PART".  HOW MANY LAVENDER TIES DOES THE MAN HAVE?

wax watched this gay canadian tv movie about a boy who sued his catholic private school to be allowed to bring his boyfriend to prom, and at the end the dude is there in a hideous, yet gay fashion disaster rainbow cummerbund with a tux.  thank god mac has better taste in snazzy clothes and interior design, apart from framed pictures of reagan is more the cashmere sort of guy.

writing

essay-type thing was done.  geez, they don't make a page like they used to.  it's really more like writing the introduction to an essay than anything else.  there's not time in a page to even really summarise an entire lecture.  i mean, i had more than that of notes that were mostly in the form of incomplete sentences. 

i typed up, just now, the four paragraphs or so of meantime fic i wrote on friday.  hunh.  the meantime fic is probably a bit slower even than the subject matter would dictate because of my and perhael's ongoing method-writing project, and how it's sucking my mental energy and attention even though i can only work on it when she's online.
