i just ate an entire bag of sweet chili pepper doritos at once. (1) i hope i am not about to feel sick. (2) damn, they were delicious. perhael, you are a GENIUS.
in other assorted news: (1) it's snowing so hard it's almost sheer white outside the window. (2) i am very busy, and struggling very hard to not hate Professor Surprise. (3) i spoke to my parents on the phone for the first time in about four months. i suppose they're making up for the times i was really depressed and their phone bills were astronomical from talking me out of panic attacks and crying jags all the time.
and just so it won't seem like i'm COMPLETELY absent... have a crack au report!
eta: i had trouble with the whole uploading to waxjism.org plan, so my website is still gone for the time being. i will attempt to sort it out expeditiously. but in related news, wax's adventures in linux have shown us that it's possible to grab files directly from a remote linux-running computer by logging into it, albeit not particularly quickly since the transfer's limited by the linux computer's isp's upload-bandwidth limits.

- the one where doyle's a conman and bodie joins him as his partner.
- the one where ray is an indentured servant in the high fantasy au version of the caucasus (?) and bodie is a down-at-luck noble magical seer whom doyle rescues a couple of times, and is then rescued by when bodie buys his contract and spirits him away to a life of wealth, glamour, and abundant, loving gay sex.
- the one where the animated teddy bear versions of bodie and doyle fall in love in santa's workshop.
- the one where bodie is some kind of immortal sex-vampire who shows up to have gay affairs with men who are going to die soon, only then he and doyle fall in loooove and he decides to stay in the real world and live as doyle's boyfriend so he can talk doyle into becoming an immortal sex-vampire too.
- the one where ray's a massage therapist and bodie's retired from CI5 with a leg injury. (for some reason this is the one that struck me as the most hilarious - maybe partly because i've had an unbelievable number of conversations about the convention of The Sexy Massage recently.)
