Beagles are awesome. Especially Perry, he's such a sweetheart. I should probably visit you guys more often or accompany you for walkies because seeing Perry always makes my day better. :)
That said, I've always loved spitz-type dogs the most - can't really give you a rational explanation for that one. My favourite breeds are the Finnish spitz (http://www.answers.com/Finnish+spitz?cat=technology&gwp=16) and Schipperke (http://www.i-love-dogs.com/dog-breeds/Schipperke.html). Spitzes have an intelligent, alert look and usually a character to match that. I know our Nelli will be best remembered for her regal air when surveying her kingdom, a.k.a. the backyard.
Yesterday, I was watching this horrible movie with my friend's brother. It was called Equilibrium, and it was set in The Future, and people took drugs to suppress their emotions, and dogs were ILLEGAL because they made you feel happy.
