qaf, finally finished the damned story

wax told me brian was sitting up with justin in the hospital and people thought he didn't give a shit because they didn't know about it at the end of season one, so naturally, i thought that that happened in season one. but it hadn't happened yet at the end of episode 22 so i returned the dvds to movie gallery and looked around: nope, they had no vol. 7 for rent, so i went to blockbuster and only then did i find out (because blockbuster has s2) that that happens at the beggining of season two. since i'm supposedly leaving for atlanta tonight, i left the video store without purchases (even though they had the importance of being earnest!). went to the grocery store instead--cat food and mint milanos. no southpaw526, but maybe next weekend.

but i had a beautiful morning. i was answering an e-mail from my beloved beta, k'sal, and suddenly inspiration just came to me. i wrote a final scene for my lastest kirk/spock, which had been sort of disconnected. this scene is the lynch-pin. the title's gone frome 'side-effect' to 'a logical organ' (quote from the episode which the story follows, 'the deadly years'). and i haven't forgotten the sherlock holmes-greek myth idea either.

edit: and also, i'm apparently both 70% evil and 70% stylish.
