You know, I think that is the sweetest darned fuck-or-die fic I've ever read. Very hot and I love how they're cranky and snarky and friendly and frustrated and filthy all through, and then the ending is all warm fuzzies and fluffy happy awww. Hot like burning, and all wrapped up in them just being adorable dorky gross boys who love each other and so, so sweet. ♥

Thank you! I'm glad to hear it! I have personally read some that were more full of melodrama as well as of epic romance, but this one doesn't really fit the melodrama genre since of course, Gerard won't actually die. He'd just be really, really uncomfortable.

I may have squealed aloud and scared my cats when I saw the summary of this story show up on my flist, and the story itself more than lived up to my hopes. Very hot, with just the right touch of angst to make it emotionally satisfying as well. I love both your guys.

I don't want to go into too much detail of how much I loved this because, well, you don't actually want to know. But seriously, the dubcon part managed to be extremely not creepy, and the extremely hot sex was interspersed with humor, which I love and yeah. Did I mention really hot?

That was fantastic. I can't believe you made a story with that much unrelenting *sex* in it so endlessly interesting. Your characters were real and adorable and ridiculous and perfect, and I could hear them both, especially Frank's voice, the whole way through. Brilliant scenario, one that could have gone totally wrong and instead turned out amazingly right. I just...I love their stupid faces. Thanks for putting a huge smile on mine. :-)

It's interesting you say that, because I almost didn't write this idea - I kept it around, not intending to write it, for a long time - because I couldn't see how so much unrelieved sex could avoid being boring, but I couldn't see a fade to black making sense. I hit on the wtf? (and hopefully humour) in Frank's POV to tie it together, and that made me willing to tackle it, which is good, because I always have a) loved pon farr stories and b) found them kind of ridiculously funny.

when i saw the word count (16000 words worth of sex, jesus) i wasn't sure about it, because i dont think any sex scene over, like, 7000, has kept my attention. then i saw the summary and oh, yeah, remembered why i love your fic. the humor, the realistic dialogue that always, always has me hearing Frank and Gerard in my head, kept me sitting here for the past half hour, foregoing sleep to read this through. the insane amounts of very-very-hot-yet-still-sweet (and dorky, because, hey, it's Frank and Gerard) of course helped too.

Yeah, I usually get bored really quickly and skim past sex scenes, actually, which is why I nearly didn't write this story when I got the idea. I picked Frank's POV to take the focus off the porn and keep some humour in it, and I'm fairly satisfied with how it turned out (even if writing that much smut was still kind of boring). And thank you for the compliments!

The thing that made this extra super awesome (besides the hot, oh, the incredible hot) was the realness of it. Um, you know, for a story about all-night, relentless pon farr sexin'. But their actions and reactions and voices made it seem real, even with the contrived plot device. (Which I don't mean in a bad way, since I already mentioned that fuck-or-die is pretty much my favourite smut cliche of all time.) I've reread this fic 3 times already, Jesus, and it just continues being hot and cute and funny and sweet and perfect. Dang.

And "Star Trek? That's all you've got?" FTW.
