apparently the ac is broken again, and lillian and her friend just left half an hour ago, unfortunately. mom told me they'd be gone the whole afternoon. not only that, but my computer chair smells like lillian's skanky little friend's sweat.

mom's tune has changed from 'don't worry about it and what can i do' to 'WE fill your prescription?' pregnant pause. 'you need to apply for a job TOMORROW. i don't mind filling your prescription, but you need to get a job. because you don't have any money, do you. and you've got bills to pay.'

i like how if i'm in the act of having a breakdown it's 'of course you don't have to worry about anything blahblah' and if i say 'but you guys can't keep paying for blahblah and i have bills' it's 'of course you don't have to worry about that, why would you think that?!'

but if i'm standing up, and not crying, or acting like a human being, suddenly it's 'i don't suppose you made dinner, did you. no, you didn't.'

mom's making it. she's surprised that i didn't cook it before six when i've ALWAYS preferred to eat around eight. well, really.
