If I were a sin I would be: a rather commonplace one, that no one found very exciting or very bad
If I were a historical figure I would be: one of those people who seem to have landed in the history books by accident, and then kept their reputations by being horribly misanthropic and slamming their doors in reporters' faces

If I were a stone, I would be: a sedimentary one, in shades of clay-like yellow with veins of red
If I were a tree, I would be: a pear tree
If I were a bird, I would be: small and frail and gray, or maybe brown

If I were a word, I would be: poignant used to be my favorite word. i think i've outgrown it too. i think i would be a more introspective, a more solid and staid word, and also a more sophisticated one, like 'nuance.'

If I were a facial expression I would be: sardonic.
