coming out
wait, is TODAY coming out day? thought it was yesterday. didn't have a blank shirt to waste either day. suppose i would just write BI on it if i did as can't think of anything particularly witty.

i imagine if you read this journal you know that i'm bisexual, and lesbian for practical purposes (as completely smitten with

wax_jism, who isn't all that femmey on the inside but quite luscious on the out-). ironically spend most of my time perving over men, though. but slash probably doesn't count in the masculine category regardless as it's a stereotypically female* activity.

i also forgot to inform y'all--on the subject of coming out--that i came out as a slasher to Big Gay Andy and his cute partner, larry. B!G!Andy was given my url (http://www.rightthisway.net/cimorene/index.html) and read one of my legolas/gimli stories, as the topic came up in a discussion of lotr slash. (that means either promise, the early/glossy/flowery/legolas pov, or time, the late/more graphic/less flowery/gimli pov.) he said he thought i needed to 'do some more research into the mechanics' in such a tone of voice that i just had to fall over giggling and didn't recover for a while. he didn't remember which story, however. i broke it to him gently that slashers as a group are not overly concerned with verisimilitude. la la.

my cute pet gay enrique saw me at the overly-crowded party (i swear there were 100 fucking people there--i almost refused to go in. ughhhh i hate groups of people!) and came and hugged me and rubbed my back. he was frank-less but hardly any less adorable. don't tell him though--frank is really my favorite.

*plus the word 'feminized' gets thrown around an awful lot.
