angsty fic

i changed my mind. i don't like angst.

it's only okay in that tonguing-a-loose-tooth, good-firm-massage way--in that when it abates, everything feels better. with a sharp little explosion of relief and better-ness. but this unrelieved angstfic is just--monotonous and stupid, and even though i can sense that a happy ending is intended, it's just too far off. it's no good. there are no--foreshadowing hints of it. like i said. monotonous.

Yes. I couldn't have said it better myself. I really dislike angst. (Also, a lot of it seems to be written by people who don't really have great writing skills.)

ahaha. you makey me laugh. but yes, also, i agree. i love the angst but only when it comes with the sweet reprieve.

::giggle:: i write an awful lot of angst, and especially HAVE written it. but i like to think it's less monotonous than this. ::yawn::
