i'm pleased because even though they're sad, they have no real reason to be. i mean, sad about getting old? even if pat turns back to normal age, he's only 66. sad about end of tng? well, you know, all good things. (heh, heh, that was the title of the series finale.) they're just panicky because of being in an alternate universe or something, with ages changing, and patrick somehow mysteriously wearing clothes that don't exist anymore. and they're desperate to touch each other, to connect, to kiss, and they've never done it before and have no REAL reason. but then they do it anyway! see, the thing is they can live happily ever after if they want. heeeeee.

i knew you'd be glad i changed the ages since you said something about 'twenty-something' and it seemed to go with the story concept. but i'm glad you like the oddness. it's VERY odd. i wasn't sure.

i haven't read either at all, really, except that every draco/harry and snape/harry has ron/hermione in the background. if that counts.
