i'm drunk, though not as drunk as at holls's wedding, at least a little drunk. a bit buzzy. a bit relaxed. i can still walk a straight line and i have no trouble speaking, but my neck is unusually pliable. the thing is my adoptive big sister lisa was at karaoke night and she wanted to make sure she didn't drink enough to get sick. but she wanted to sing 'unbreak my heart' with me and after looking at the lyrics we determined that i was not tipsy enough to attempt it, since it looked like they didn't exactly fit with the tune. so i said, okay, i like smirnoff ice. and she went to get it but instead of one she bought three bottles, and then she was like, okay, well, i'll get sick if i drink too much, so drink a big gulp till yours is more gone than mine (about halfway through) and then she switched our bottles. so i took a few more sips and then she topped the bottle off out of the third bottle. and i had had one already. i couldn't let her get sick. now i keep spelling things wrong, although i can still type really fast. anyway, mom drove home, cause she didn't drink any alcohol. but it was funny, feeling, because the seat was tilted forward and not back, like i was going to fall out. heh. lillian's best friend, known variously as devilspawn, smelly & c., is a very impressive singer with a deepish range and a very powerful, forceful voice. excellent for pop. lisa was still there when we left. my gay boys were at the church to do a moon ceremony whatthefuck and i was like 'frank! i'm surprised you would be in public with people' and he said oh no, i'm leaving before the karaoke, i just came with enrique for the astronomy ceremony, but what are YOU doing here? i don't know, i quite truthfully said. but he left and i stayed. i oughtta've hugged him. he was endearing.
