we watched johnny english last night (funnyish but my advice is if you like rowan atkinson just watch mr. bean), and his sidekick, besides being unstoppably adorable, reminded me of tim roth for some reason. he doesn't really actually look much like him--maybe stance, or head and foot size. mouth, perhaps. anyone else see it?

hey, I stumbled across here through finding some of your (excellent) fic, and I had to reply to this post, cos I've been saying this for years now! The guy is Ben Miller, who is mainly known through acting and writing the fantastically funny Armstrong and Miller Show, which ran over here in England a few years ago. He's terribly sweet and articulate and funny, and I believe he got his degree in quantum physics! He's also in another funny British film called the Parole Officer, and can be seen in lots of comedy/drama on British tv. Ahem, not that I like stalk him, or anything...
PS- just noticed some of yr earlier entries- have you posted the Singing in the Rain fic? Because I didn't even know that you can find that anywhere, and it's one of my favourite films of all time. I would love to read it.

so you DO see the tim roth-ness? although he's admittedly rather better-looking... roth has that rough-hewn, somebody-broke-my-nose-when-i-was-turning-tricks-down-on-54th-street look. but i kept staring at b.m.'s cuteness all through the movie! i couldn't find any pictures of him other than those though.

as for the fic, no, i'm waiting for my beta to finish with it. you can't find it anywhere... although petronelle has written two drabbles, but they're too short for me to count.

yeah, ben miller has a much more public schoolboy kinda vibe to him! but I completely see the tim roth similarities.

yeah, it's actually mr boyd. But because of your post, I am now googling around to try and find pics of B.M, cause I sort of forgot about my crush on him, he's not been on tv for a while, and you've sent me spinning into a mini revival!
