i just read a pretty appalling story. no, really appalling. it was a novel-length mixture of FPS and RPS that ended in a songfic, and included a healthy portion of historical fiction with heaps of period inaccuracies that made my skin crawl.

...omg. kitten_head's honey has actually named the year 2005 for HER wedding. like... yeep.

i mean, i remember vividly making up kinky sex games for our barbies with her. feeding the deer and the giant goldfish at that park in kentucky. learning to walk like julia roberts in pretty woman. getting out of the car and knowing she'd be there just any hour and that piercing shriek and the running and throwing myself in her arms i've always done when i see her again. i remember that as far back as age five. (man, we were ADORABLE at five. each of us independently. our clothes would never quite fit either one, cause we were both so unbearably skinny. and i had long brown hair that hadn't started to curl yet, and big bangs. and she had these perky little brilliant orange pigtails... .)

and remember the camping trip where we forgot all our Kens, but had one Kevin, so Kira and Theresa were Lesbians and [black barbie - I forget her name] was robbin' the cradle with Kevin? lol... we were so CREATIVE.

i DON'T remember that camping trip although i do remember having barbie/barbie and barbie/kevin action in generalized terms!

yes. yes, we were. we were very creative. ::giggle:: and we were always like, "pssst... did you bring it???" and we'd both bring a whole bag of barbies, and we'd sneak off and we didn't want anyone else in the room while we were playing. you'd think we were doing drugs instead of making up kinky stories.
