haven't had so much fun in some time.

instead of reading dickens or the cliff's notes on dickens, everyone should always see his stories made into 3-hour plays performed by small children. with music. and not-flawless choreography. AHAHAHAHAHA. the cuteness of oliver just about killed me and the great thing is that now i'll never need to read it. not that, you know, i would have otherwise.

wax_jism, you don't need to have plot bunnies to write. you can, apparently, just start writing somewhere and stop somewhere else. which isn't to say that's what he did--he clearly HAD a plot--but the random method might have turned out better, honestly.

went to the second half of dancing instead of the first for a change. wild asparagus was playing. i'm SO going to buy their cd. next time i go dancing there. anyway, yeah, so the good dancers show up in droves for the second half of a wild asparagus night. i only danced three and a waltz, but i haven't been that sweaty in. yeah. a very long time. the dances are fucking HARD late. i was terribly confused for a lot of the time. but in a fun way. and my first partner was. fantastic. and he was a cute thin boy who wasn't strong enough to swing me if i leaned back on his arm, but he showed me this bracing method where you hook your right arm around your partner's waist and link your left hands above your heads. oh god, i've never spun that fast before. hurrah for suede-soled shoes; it was fantastic. brilliant.
