cimoreneokay, sentence #1 out of five only took... an hour and a half, and... i have... raisins. just shoot me now. (i mean. raisins are nice, smooches to rm#1, but caffeine is probably better at this stage. "having conquered," for god's sake. i'm at that stage of insanity where having to translate the present perfect active plural masculine participle [got that?] makes me see red. and you don't want to know how long i spent looking for it.) raisins, tea. tea. *whimper* are there any fluent speakers of ancient greek around here?
[edit: ummm, maybe it wasn't so finished after all--it SEEMS to be saying when the enemy came, the trophy stood out as having conquered. and that can't be right. can it?]
