omg cutest slashy moment ever in csi:ny 1.15

i might prefer this pairing to nick/greg from the garden variety csi.

the slashy bit that i adored was at the beginning.  a bride dies at the altar during the ceremony.  two dead doves are strewn about.  mac and danny are investigating. 

mac remarks that letting birds fly indoors is thought to be bad luck.


danny is reading the hotel's brochure.  he says something like, "according to the brochure, the flight of the doves is a symbol of the couple's union and eternal love."
danny starts to crouch down to help examine the body.


mac looks up and says, rather playfully, "it could happen to you, you know."


danny's dismissive.  "what, marriage?" he barely glances at mac.  with his eyebrows raised.  and hunkers down to examine the body.


but mac hasn't looked down.  he's still looking at danny.  he says earnestly, "love."
danny glances up and mac holds his gaze and licks his lips a little.


danny: "don't even say stuff like that, mac, it's not funny."  he won't look up again. 


mac grins.
