mozilla is the sex.

some really jolly extensions for mozilla firefox, the sleekest, sexiest, shiniest, spit-n-polishiest browser on the market:
disable targets for downloads--prevents that annoying blank page from popping up when you download.
mouse gestures--gives opera's mouse gesture functionality to firefox. you can open new pages, open links/tabs in new pages, go forward and back, reload, close, etc by drawing little shapes while holding down the mouse button. needs to be reconfigured to make it right-button instead of left-button if you're used to opera.
tabbrowser extensions--lets you configure all kinds of properties for tabbed browsing. gives color codes, adds a little 'x' to each tab if you want it--really really spiffy.
firesomething--does nothing but randomly re-name the browser on the title bar and in the taskbar. a new random name everytime you open it--ie "mozilla firepanda," "mozilla spacemonkey." i'm enjoying it.
quicknote--loads (optionally in the sidebar) a little stickynote pad. you type notes to yourself in it; it automatically saves them for you.

Date: 23 Jul 2004 05:02 pm (UTC)I've also installed the Nuke Image (http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=80&vid=87&category=Page%20Display) extension, which I find very useful when people on my Flist post oversized images. Just right-click, remove image, and your Friends page realigns without annoying scrollbars.
And I also like the Duplicate Tab (http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=28&vid=29&category=Tabbed%20Browsing) extension which allows you to right-click and open a duplicate of the page you're on. I use this one a lot when I'm leaving comments and realize that I want to link to something in my Memories, and I don't want to lose the text I've already typed.
I love Firefox sooo much, and I'm always happy to hear about other folks who use it.
