a bit of all right
7 Aug 2005 12:32 amoh, oh, happy birthday, my beloved
thelionforreal. my kingdom for a visit! i miss you! and so does wax, i know! ♥
wax got a real, genuine job at nokia, that's full time and everything. she should get a raise in a few months, too, at which point we ought to be able to move to a better flat. in the meantime she gets to quit her job from hell at the laundry of satan and take a week off before nokia-work starts, and monday we're going to ikea (only my second time!) with my mother-outlaw. my parents will be peeved, cause i said i would go to the police station and ask how the fuck to renew my residence permit on monday, but i guess that will have to be tuesday instead. (all my online research turns up no definite guidelines. i'm not even sure if it has to be renewed yet.)
yesterday or last night the dog ate a good quantity of what wax describes as a "highly poisonous plant". i wasn't even aware we had any plants that qualified as highly poisonous, let alone that they were sitting so near the floor, or i would have objected--even though perry's plant eating usually focuses on grasses, and he hasn't done it for a while. he seems more or less all right, if fatigued and clingy over the last couple of weeks.
and i've been growing my hair for a year now because
kitten_head expressed the desire to see it long for her eventual wedding. now that she seems about to break up with her boyfriend for the second time in a month, i probably won't need it for that, but i feel it will be a wasted year of misery and bad hairstyles if i quit now, while part of it is still chin-length. i miss the long hair and the short hair both, and i'm waffling whether to stick it out (and not let that year go to waste!) or go for instant gratification and the pixie cut again. oh um. wait.
i don't have many good pictures of the long hair, so you have to get the same old one.

but here's a couple of pixie hair.

and small text for a little additional bit of whining. there's a growing trend in sga of people not labelling their stories with pairings. bitches.
