inspirational urban photo tour

wild_boys has the best life ever for journalling. in the past i've considered the possibility that she has the funniest entries on my friendslist through pure talent, but i'm beginning to think it's a combination of things. like this is the funniest anecdote in... a long time. and so beautiful! i laughed till i cried.
also, today was gcsl's turn to present his area of expertise in sociology. it was pretty interesting although not entirely novel, especially when he talked about an ideological battle over whether transvestism and transgenderism are related on a continuum or completely unrelated phenomena. i still haven't copied his thesis yet.
yesterday
shiroi_chi and i had a bit of a project runway themed day. first we watched 2x08 "inspiration" yet again, and then we took our digital cameras and walked all around downtown, imitating the designers by taking pictures. we kind of cheated, though: no angry little old ladies, no african characters and no gutter water--we both focused on architecture. we dropped into aschan for warm beverages and runebergs tårtor, because i had lost all feeling in my fingers; and then we came back and watched the episode again, and briefly discussed andraé and santino's wedding rings with
thelionforreal.
however, the point is: have a photo tour of some of the really beautiful buildings in town.

and on a rather unrelated note, allow me to recommend what i'm listening to: it's the podcast of a national public radio show about language based in california. the show's called "a way with words", and it's about an hour a week. i like to listen to them on my ipod while i walk the dog. i find them extremely entertaining.
