oh, wait, i was supposed to go to bed, wasn't i. the gibberish messages appear to've stopped, possibly because if they came now, they would be free. er. but i'm not sure that actually makes any sense to the potential spammers, if that's what they are. i've been almost as spamtastic as those scurvy speakers of the black tongue today, haven't i?

somehow i allowed myself to be persuaded to go out looking for a job tomorrow. mom says her mom took her. she promises to be supportive. i don't think i can believe her.

went to blockbuster on a whim, and another whim almost had me swinging over to wal-mart on the way back to get a cd and some orange cuticle sticks. alas, what i really want, in terms of cds, are esthero or bif naked (::curtsies to hollsk::) and not anything they're likely to have. but now i have remembered i'm going to have to go out again tonight, for garbage bags and salad and bagels. in a further strike to vanity i was in the grocery store this morning, having been strong-armed by mom into submitting an application.

i feel so weird and... like. disconnected. extremely calm. i don't think it's an unnatural state, though. i'm kind of liking it. i feel exceptionally rational, in comparison to how i usually feel. i remember having had this kind of feeling at other times and being upset because it was so unfamiliar. but i do wonder what it means. brain chemistry, probably, but perhaps i'm a little superstitious after all, because it pleases me to think more far-fetched things.
