highlights of trip include

+leaving 8 hours late
+that time where you couldn't see out the windshield for the rain
+taking a wrong turn in dallas on the way, driving through the airport, and arriving 1.5 hours later 15 minutes after the colleyville market street closed
+the cold wet drizzle all day at the ren fest
+getting lost AGAIN that night on the way back from a different grocery store
+these really beautiful metal sculptures, largely dragons, largely around $1000 a pop, plus:

my email won't let me in.

the colleyville branch of my store is so incredibly swanky i kept squeeing and hopping. it was just SO rocking cool. they had a HUGE display of le creuset and lots of expensive dishes and cookware and stuff in the upstairs. everything, everything was cool. and Rat-Frog Manager's face was blown up to twice life size on like built-in poster thing on the exterior wall. i am filled with company spirit. i love my job.
