I've reached the yearly dilemma of not having any non-Christmas paper for wrapping Channukah presents - I used up the last of the non-denominational shit yesterday. Sigh. I have to go shopping again.

Hugh Jackman to host the Oscars... I'm kind of excited about this, for the first time in... a really long time. Not a big fan of the Oscars in general, except for the red carpet dresses. I guess I've caught the Jackman buzz this year.

While I'm on the subject, here are the movies I am looking forward to right now: Australia (premieres Boxing Day in Finland), Twilight - LOL! (2 Jan 09 Finland), Revolutionary Road (30 Jan 09 Finland), The Duchess (6 Feb 09 Finland), Easy Virtue (27 March 09 Finland).

Note that the last of those, Easy Virtue, came out October/November in the UK and US. The international release date machinery is the stupidest, most enraging shit. RRRRRRG SMASH.
