you apparently really can't teach an old dog

After being in the country, and then having the makeshift baby gate across the hall for a while (until it broke. It was kind of rickety), I thought I had really communicated with the dog that he was to notify me when he wanted to go outside instead of just holding it and then peeing on the floor. It seemed to be working! Even after the gate broke. Then he stopped notifying me like a week ago, and peed on the floor two days in a row. -_-

But I decided since the story is taking so damn long to finish that I'd post this little sad thing and see how it went over with everyone. :). It basically tells the story. Oh and for what it's worth there's marriage and a child involved :)
