cool elopement, bro
8 Oct 2009 07:34 amWe got married at a courthouse in Iowa yesterday.
Wax and I were going to elope with just us, and then we were going to take my parents, and then we were going to take my cousin Amanda, and then in the end it happened that everyone who COULD take the day off yesterday did and there were ten of us yesterday in Des Moines: two aunts, my cowboy uncle Bruce, two cousins, a cousin's husband, my parents, and us. Actually one cousin is very pregnant, so counting the fetus (which is as old as the n00bs were when SIL Windows popped anyway) Alex, that's 11.
Des Moines is about three hours from my family's clan home on the opposite side of Kansas City, and everyone in an official position there was VERY nice, and my cousin Tesia got video of the judge mispronouncing Wax's adorable three Swedish names, but you can't see it unless you already know our RL names, I am afraid.
