My mom wanted to take us shopping, and all the shoes we got are previously seen in my shoes tag. Wax got the Rocket Dog Jamba School Socks, a grey knitted argyle sneaker with a big bumper toe, but in red and navy instead of the black pictured here. The same day, I got the Converse All Stars in Sangria I've been raving about since those teaser pics of the new season of Doctor Who, but in a low-top version like so.
And finally, when we spent a glorious autumn day in Lawrence, Kansas, first at the University of Kansas Museum of Natural History (pictures coming later) and then lunch at my Uncle Joe's favorite microbrewery and then shopping - I found a pair of Vintage made-in-England brown Docs in Wax's size, the weathered brown Azteca leather ones, at an antique mall for only $45 USD and my mom bought her those as well. I'd put them at under ten years old probably, but they could be more: I couldn't figure out the system of serial numbers in the tongue.
