1 Dec 2011 11:49 pmIs there a name for that syndrome where the need to concentrate your creative energy specifically on Yuletide because hello, deadline results in a sudden utterly contrary superfluity of urges to write something completely different?
And while I'm posting twice in two days (gasp!), you can weigh in on an important Dinner Party question about which I am unusually indecisive.
I already discarded lentil curry (which is kind of a stew) and tomato and barley stew on the grounds that I served the former to
pierydys the last time she came over and the latter to the other guests the last time they came over. See, it's really tempting to just make nothing but stews in this season. It's the unpleasant weather: it just makes you want to build a fireplace and then sit in front of it in a nest made of fur eating stew and knitting/crocheting an endless supply of giant chunky wool things in which to swaddle yourself for the entire winter. Or maybe that's just me.
