Plumber UPDATE!?
21 Sep 2021 08:49 pmSo, we've been, as you know, making do all last winter with only half our radiators working, because the first plumbers said they didn't have time to do them after all (after taking them partly apart) and the second plumber said he'd find time to come by some day and did not.
On the day the pipe exploded and flooded our basement, one of the first things that happened while we were frantically running from the garage to the driveway carrying furniture and belongings away from the water was that a plumber's van drove by and we got excited and then realized it was actually a different plumbing contractor with a very similar name to our actual plumber's business name. Then the actual plumbers arrived a little while later.

waxjism went on the website of these similar name plumbers and asked via a contact form if they could bleed and fix our 9 radiators or whatever it was, and they responded within a few days like "Yes, when would be a good time for you?" So she answered that yesterday! No reply as yet, but the first response looked encouraging anyway!
