I meant his own obsession with Ryoma! But you're right - Tezuka just sort of accepts Ryoma's stubbornness, doesn't he?

Actually, one of the things I love most about their dynamic is that Tezuka never tries to change Ryoma. He never tries to mold Ryoma into his image or curb the impudence or the brattiness or the cocky arrogance. He steps in when things get out of hand, but I love that he seems to like Ryoma that well just as he is. AHHH. LOVE. SO MUCH LOVE.
