hyotei arc up to 62

cimoreneso right before the kabaji-kawamura match, ryoma--who has been lounging on the bleachers--remarks that hyotei are very strong. tezuka, kawamura and fuji turn around to stare at him, and tezuka wears a hint of a frown--possibly because he seems so unconcerned, possibly just because he's curious what ryoma's opinion of the match is, possibly because he doesn't approve of complimenting hyotei out loud (although really i think that battle is mostly in atobe's head). once he has tezuka's attention, ryoma opens his eyes all the way and provides a mysterious and meaningful little smile and a lot of impressive glowing of his giant chibi eyes. "i'll depend on you to win the other games, senpais," he smirks.
and then tezuka's face kind of softens.
specifically, his mouth relaxes and he stares at ryoma. well, he does that all the time, but i think we can tell he's moved.
i'm halfway through the hyotei arc. aöslkdjföalskjdf. god. i love this show so much.
fuji/taka ♥♥♥ @.@ wow. [cim takes a break to look for some good fuji/taka. she finds some, but none that isn't tooth-achingly sweet.] and also the fujicest! *.* and, okay, fuji and ryoma. ♥ i hope they stay friends/whatever forever. fuji can come over and exchange pleasant barbed comments with ryoma until tezuka gets a headache from trying not to roll his eyes and gives up and leaves the house.
ryoma bench-coaching. oh, that was brilliant, and ahahah, fuji needling him about doing it just to get a better look at fuji playing, and ryoma not caring at all and the barbed comments and ryuzaki being like "haha, whatever" and, for that matter, all the many reaction shots of ryoma during other people's matches. i hope the manga or something keeps going long enough for us to see him being a captain, because words can't express how much i love that.
