the ignore strategy
14 Nov 2006 05:36 pmi might be a tiny bit stressed lately because of an imminent three exams (one in one week. also, there's a book problem) and one oral presentation. rather, i've been putting off thinking about them as much as possible to avoid stress, but have been unable to forget them completely so the stress is sort of looming, mutely but ominously, behind its glass wall and making increasingly urgent hand gestures at me. so it's probably time to start reading nothing except textbooks. :/ just when i want to read... well, i've been reading sga, but i'm not dead set on it; another fandom or a real book would do, it's just these particular textbooks wouldn't (on social science methodology in general, not sociology in specific. long).
also, it just feels wrong to leave for class after sunset1, which i did today for the first time this year.
1. well, the sunset isn't actually over at 15.00, but it's definitely underway.
