I thought that the first time I read it, when I was a young teenager, but when I came back to it in college I really loved it. It's undoubtedly more muted and slow-paced than other Austen novels, but for all its seriousness no less incisively witty, and of all her novels it contains perhaps the most exquisitely-fashioned scenes of romance.
