Inside the cut you will find singers arranged in order of how much I like them, with youtube links and separate little introductory mixes. Also, pictures, because they're hot. Meet Lena Park, Chae Yeon, Lee Hyori, Bada, Lexy, and BoA.

Lena Park
R&B and soulish - mostly slow, mostly ballads, a lot of voice. 8 selected tracks [zip]
My Day & Ugly Duckling (live) A slow jazz track followed by a faster and swingier one. She's really adorable and radiant and vivacious here, besides her amazing voice. The end of the first song is particularly impressive. A fairly good example of what I love about her, although I can't find either of my favourite songs.
My Day In its original ballad form.
Moon, a ballad from her latest album.
PS I Love You, another ballad, sounding rather more 90s-ish.
In The Beauty Salon Another ballad! I can't find video of any of her slightly faster tracks. No, I have no idea why it's called that.

Chae Yeon
Hip-hop leaning pop. 8 selected tracks [zip]
Dool E Suh (Two of Us), from her second album, and her biggest hit, which is because it's probably one of the catchiest pop songs ever.
My Love, the title track from her most recent album, with some fun Latin flavour.
One Person, a slower song, less catchy but a more interesting (but lower-budget) vid, with some home video looking stuff and some... violins?
Seh Buhn Jjae Saran (Third Love), featuring some rapper or other - another dancing-in-hotpants-in-front-of-cars vid. I wonder if it's always the same carpark?

Lee Hyori
Hip-hop leaning pop. Occasionally may be mistaken for a tiny Korean Britney Spears. 8 selected tracks [zip]
Anyclub, with Eric and Kwon Sang Woo. I include this for the cracktastic plot. I'm not sure exactly, but I think there's her breaking up with her bf, and B-plot involving some gangsters who are menacing a nightclub, and a dude on a motorcycle who beats them up. Also one of her better songs.
Get Ya (live) Britney-esque dancing in hooker boots and hotpants is Lee Hyori's style (in this case, though, with 100% more pretending to be a wind-up doll). Also, this song is much like Britney's "Do Somethin'". This is rumoured, I see from YouTube commenters, to be because Korean composers sold it to Britney's peeps, but who knows.
Toc Toc Toc Rather bizarrely, there's all these live performance bits mixed in with the more traditional music video bits, and in the live bits she's wearing a little... tail... bustle thing made out of pink feather boas over a pair of jeans. I wanted more of the black and white shots with the fedora.
If All The Love Was Accepted In The World A slow one. The vid seems to come from an old movie or tv show.

Bada
She has some soul and hip-hop influence too. 8 selected tracks [zip]
VIP. A rather up-beat and peppy fast one. I might possibly like this one the best because of the menswear. Mmm, girls in ties.
Eyes. A fast dance track with a hip-hop beat. And a shiny, meaningless vid that it's safe to space out on. Featuring among other things a cropped space-age turtleneck - ripped off from Britney too?
Aurora (live) A ballad, so you can see what her slow songs are like. From her second album.
Forever Love and VIP live at a music festival.
Go Go Go, A high-energy live performance of a track I don't have (yet?). But... what are those pants she's wearing? Like, black Turkish pants with... a circular black gingham inset on the crotch and insides of the legs? Maybe it's a skirt.

Lexy
A female rapper. She digs Missy Elliot and Eve, and you can tell. 8 selected tracks [zip]
Up To The Sky (feat Kim Ji Eun), my favourite track from the most recent album
Let Me Dance, a rather hilarious video from an album I don't have
Tears, a truly bizarre safari-themed video to another song I don't have
Get Up, Rush, & Up To The Sky live. The video quality's a bit awful, but oh well.
And one should also mention:

BoA
Probably the most well-known Korean female vocalist round these parts by virtue of her numerous chart-topping Japanese albums. Most of what I have and most of what I can find on youtube is her Japanese stuff, alas. 8 selected tracks [zip]
Girls On Top (Korean). A hot hip-hoppy dance track. I never understand her videos. What is that gold lame suit?
Winter Love (live) (Japanese). My favourite of her ballads.
Moto (Korean). Fast.
Sweet Impact (Japanese). Her last Japanese single, extremely catchy. Video featuring... a magical motorcycle and a holodeck?
The Love Bug ft M-flo (live) (Japanese). I also dig M-flo, so.
