trick or treat?

It's Halloween! I really thought I had my favourite floor-length witch gown with me - it's a leftover from when I dressed up as St. Thomas a Beckett in 9th grade, but then it was part of a priest costume, and has since been cut down to a more form-fitting shape - but I looked in the closet, and it wasn't there. Of course, I have plenty of black stuff I could wear to the Halloween party and some green things too. But no fairy wings anymore, and no face paint. It's much harder to make impromptu costumes without my mother's tremendous collection of art supplies, sewing supplies, old clothes, costume jewelry, and fabric scraps. ...O hai guys, what time is your party aktully?

I don't really know what time the party is, either. 'In the evening' was all I could get out of Lex yesterday. Maybe I'll go and ask her again and again until she gives up and makes up an arbitrary time for me. :D

She's making FOODS now, I think. I feel sad because I don't know how to make anything.

I can make a pretty good omelette. I can also make cakes and pancakes and stuff. Mostly the problem is that trying to follow a recipe and not burn things throws me into a huge panic. >___>
