He says psychoanalysis is the dominant school in Finnish psychiatry. I suppose it would be impolitic to say anything scathing about that. Maybe he just thinks all problems are rooted in childhood, not that all problems are rooted in penis envy. Or something.

Psychoanalysis has moved beyond Freud. More childhood, less penis envy.

My mother's a psychologist of the psychoanalytic type, so I have to say that, it's in the daughter contract.
