back home to torment you with this quiz gacked from [livejournal.com profile] ninglor.

the april in style magazine and a blank composition book which i never intend to write in.

What is the geekiest part of your music collection?

probably aqua's "aquarium." hm. i have simon & garfunkel and queen, but everyone knows they rule, so....

What do you eat when you raid the fridge late at night?

when i was little i used to love cold pizza, which now makes me sick. now it's usually raisin bran and milk, or goldfish crackers or chips and salsa.

What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie?

i don't have one. oh, maybe star trek: the wrath of khan. that's the closest i've come to crying in a movie that i'd want to see again, but i've only thus far seen it once. singin' in the rain is my favorite.

Do you have a completely irrational fear?

hmmm. i'm afraid of rabbits. does that count? i had this awful nightmare about them last night.

What is the little physical habit that gives away an insecure moment?

playing with my fingernails, or examining them. or touching my face.

Are you a pyromaniac?

i like fire, but i fear matches.

Do you have too many love interests?

nah.

Do you know anyone famous?

fandom-famous? sure. what about the magnificent [livejournal.com profile] wax_jism? as for real-famous, i've met connie willis, cj cherryh, lois mcmaster bujold, patricia wrede, jane yolen, george rr martin, allen steele, david weber, mike resnick, and some other writers. andy duncan, who isn't extremely famous but who won the john campbell award this year for best new sf writer, is a close friend of the family.

Describe your bed:

mismatched sheets, forest-green afghan and sage coverlet with five throw pillows i've made, plus my paddington bear and a giant stuffed moose. a mission-style futon.

Spontaneous or planned?

spontaneous, i suppose.

Who should play you in a movie about your life?

well, i can't think of anyone who looks too much like me. natalie portman would work, but she's too pretty. also, my hair is curly. selma blair? hm. i can think of a few who are too old, now, but still... eh.

Do you know how to play poker?

no.

What do you carry with you at all times?

nothing that's not metaphysical. i don't think. um... the clothes i'm wearing?

How do you drive?

very well, but i can't have a fight while driving.

What do you miss most about being little?

feeling safe.

Are you happy with your given name?

delighted, though i'd prefer "cimorene." and when i was little i wanted to be "karen."

How much money would it take to get you to give up the Internet for one year?

HAHahahahahHAHAHAhaha.

What color is your bedroom?

cream, soon to be chartreuse.

Have you ever been in a play?

babes in toyland and a gifted-class production of a midsummer night's dream in which i played helena.

Have you ever been in love?

yeah, i'd say so.

Do you talk a lot?

sometimes.

Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?

absolutely. i have some doubts that i could support myself writing professionally, however.

Have you ever done any illegal drugs?

no.

Do you think you're cute?

hm. sometimes, probably.

Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?

occasionally...
