It seems some silly ass has disabled remote access to my computer. It was probably me. Curses! Which means I can only get at my files by replacing the graphics card or going through a two-hour regimen of power-button-pushing until the graphics driver finally catches on and produces an image on the monitor. Wax's computer, on the other hand, can be accessed and drag-and-drop browsed via sftp from anywhere in the world.
