wax in teenie disguise
29 May 2008 09:33 pmMy little sister designed the most astonishingly AWESOME shoes ever for
wax_jism's birthday. Ironically, it's her 32nd birthday and they're total teenie shoes that match her total teenie Cobra Starship shirt.

Those are forest green with a neon green animal-print tongue and lining. The red top grommets signify some charity project for AIDS that Converse is doing, and I forget what it's called, but it goes by the phenomenally stupid slogan "There's No Such Thing As Small Change" (...Yes there is!). Still, the red is super cute. And I'm super jealous because my own pink Converse are - thanks to Converse's stupid lying size conversion chart that LIES - completely way too big by like, three centimeters (Converse size 7 instead of 6 or 6½, which they claim is equivalent to US Men's, but it's clearly not). Yeah, so anyway, it's really stupid to wear clown shoes like that; I'm gonna have to sell them.

Date: 30 May 2008 12:39 pm (UTC)I have that problem too. I already have two pairs of slip-on sneakers and three pairs of the other kind, even if one is slightly too big and one is slightly old, so whenever I think about buying more pairs of sneakers it just seems kind of... overkill. It's not like I'm some kind of athlete. These sneakers are used for walking the dog, and walking into town to go shopping.
