another pop song that i hate? that "why you wanna go and make things so complicated" one. there's this insidious catchy little hook of melody, but with the most inane, asinine lyrics and a voice that makes me shudder and squirm. ugh, ugh, ugh. and i CAN'T get it out of my head. i'm going to kill something.

after i sleep. hm.

nemoricultrix tried to fix the power mac very kindly, but it still wouldn't fix--the options for it in the menu were gray, like it wasn't even there. only it clearly was. i mean. i can see it. it says 'dvd' right on it. GAH.

Oh dear. If you want to try it again tomorrow I can talk you through how to open it with a paper clip and see if it responds better with a new disk. Sorry it's not working for you :(
