cimoreneHave I ever mentioned to the Internets that OUR IKEA (an Ikea in the suburbs of Turku-Åbo, specifically in Raisio, that is) OPENS TODAY?

wax_jism and I were planning to go there tomorrow, but then we remembered we have to babysit. As bizarre as this may seem to some people, I would rather babysit the noobs than go to Ikea, so I guess that will wait for her next free weekday. (They're open on the weekend, yeah, but I predict miles-long queues on their first weekend open EVER.) I can't wait to pick up some more lidded green storage boxes and a half-circle desktop shelf for our Ivar shelves, among other things. I want to get an unfinished chair to paint, too. I'm not sure what I'll then do with that chair - maybe give it to someone in the family. At least, I'm pretty sure they should have latex primer and topcoat there, too.
