the vortex of bag choosing

cimoreneI have shopping angst. See, I want (if want is an appropriate word for this craving - I've been meaning to buy one with increasing urgency for three or four months now) a new bag for my birthday, and I've been trying to decide which one for several days.
See, there's the red pleather cat-print shoulder bag, the flower-print evening bag, the silver royal tapestry tote and little shoulder bag, the lace-print shoulder bag, and the Maria Consolata military canvas shopper.
Every time I try to narrow down my choices, I end up widening them again. The problem is that I really want several different kinds of bags - a pretty and delicate classy one, a bright-coloured playful one, a little handbag and a medium shoulder bag and a big tote. Separately. (I had three candidates when I got up this morning, and they were all different, I mean, none of these five candidates were on that shortlist - except the last one.) Oh, and I also want this purple princess toiletry case even though I rarely travel, and don't have that many toiletries. It's purple, and so pretty!
