Date: 22 May 2009 09:21 pm (UTC)aside from worrying hints of Kirk/McCoy, and it's not like I need a certificate of English Majoring. That's what spellcheck is for! I'm not sure I really know what to think about what I've got, because of the way my idea of what the hell I was doing changed several times, gradually, over the course of writing it (it started life as two separate drabbles for the kinkmeme, neither of which became sexy at all, and which I then pasted together and wrote a plot around). As it currently stands, no one has looked at it but(no subject)

Date: 22 May 2009 09:39 pm (UTC)I mean, I keep running against this problem where I totally see why, based on the McCoy-Kirk dynamic on paper, you might want to read that - it's just that when I watch them together in canon (uh, I mean, TOS canon), I don't get chemistry.
Same with Spock and Uhura in TOS canon, and in their case, I actually love their dynamic far more than Kirk-McCoy (which is fun, but just nowhere near as hilarious) - possibly because of my unspeakably large love for Uhura, IDK. Actually, if you assume sexual attraction between them I think it would detract greatly from many of the scenes between them that I love. :/
...But then I also ship Kirk/Spock (more than any other pairing ever) and Uhura/Scotty (much more mildly).
As for the other, I was just e-mailing you!
