Asics Prima Diva Sprint in white, hot pink, and lime, which... has cleats on the bottom! I don't know why. Is it just labelled 'sprint' for fun, even though it's actually for golf or soccer? Whatever.

I love these! They really do look like they're meant for sprinting and not golf or soccer though.

Yeah, they LOOK like that, but it's gotta be a pretty specialized sprinting... habit (?) that needs cleats, right?

They're track spikes. They're for sprinters. Spikes are really common for all track runners tho'. I was on varsity track and field, and all the runners used spikes in meets. Better grip on the track stuff. (As a thrower, i had the opposite kind of shoes: rounded and smooth.)

Nope. It depends on the track; there's some variation. However, most are this weird plasticy clay stuff. It's bouncy. Asphalt is actually bad on your knees if you run a lot.

Actually, it struck me the other day that you might like the trainers I wear to work. Wish I could find a better picture, but I have a feeling they're discontinued.
