So after accepting the desired back-rub and head-scritching, she abandoned her post after all and went back to her nest of blankets on the sofa. The main purpose of the cajoling conversational meow featured here is to demand attention be paid anyway; she only positions herself in the Crazy bed or similar location first because she's too nervous to enjoy it if she isn't on her own turf.
