There's nothing wrong with freeform tags, from a user POV. As a wrangler, they're annoying because we can't do anything with them, so they tend to get shoved under the bed. We can't do anything to them beyond label them freeform. And a lot of wranglers find that frustrating. If we could somehow separate bookmarking tags and have them wrangled separately or something -- I dunno. I just see it getting messy fast, on the back end.
