I just bought a pair of Palladiums! (Which I keep wanting to plural as "Palladia.") It's the Pampa Peloton ones. They're very soft leather and a soft but thick sole, almost more like foot gloves. I...guess...I'm happy with them? I'm afraid they won't hold their shape well over time, but they're comfy. [/shoe talk]

Next time I need names for a fantasy novel, I'll just hit up some shoe sales.

Yeah, I think the design of them is obviously more sneaker- than boot-derived. I've seen some plain canvas ones that looked quite nice!

It's a huge step up from that trend of naming them all women's names.

I think those are the Pampa Tacticals? Those are the first ones I fell in love with, too. I opted for the all-leather instead but now I'm not so sure...

They look quite long-lasting. You can always move on to canvas if they turn out to be sturdy and well-fitting for your foot.
