you know, in the original superman tv show--from the 50s, on tv--i never liked lois that much either, but i didn't notice it. i wish my memory weren't so hazy; i just have vague memories of her being annoying. punk's characterization here seems spot on to me thus far (which is less than half, but eh). [edit: this story is getting more impressive, not less. it's all vague and dreamy and it makes me want to lie down and stare at the ceiling, and it's going on my recs page in just a moment.]

in other news, i made a lot of due south icons, and this one is my new one, and the others are up for grabs, if anyone wants one.

My view of older!Clark and Lois will forever mimic the portrayal of them on Lois and Clark, which my family watched religiously from the first episode to last. This is a mental block that I'm positive I'll never break. I even PICTURE the actors in my head for the characters. [which is so confusing, for Lex Luther - though v. attractive and slashy with Clark - had hair]

And. um. Punk matched that Lois really damn well, so I found that believable as well. Was much pleased. heh.
