so i accidentally dialed 911 while trying to call my favorite cousin, who lives in the 913 area code, although i had already dialed a 1. since i thought that 1 automatically transfers you to your long-distance carrier, i thought it wouldn't do anything, so i just went ahead and called aubry. and left a message. and then the police showed up. they were rather suspicious. 'does the dog bite? could she come out of there so we can see everyone's fine?'

very diligent policemen, they were. i was quite embarrassed.

very fast, though.
