The house is perfectly livable despite the inconvenient basement bathroom, but we need to hear more from the contractor about the pipes and whatnot before we know what we'll do about moving in.

Here's an exterior shot that Google's AI proactively put a color saturation filter on for me. The entrances to the house both face away from the street, or rather, from both streets, because the house is on a corner and consequently also has 2 functioning street addresses that we can apparently choose between. Wax's post has the most distressing 'before' shots from the interior as well as a lot of details.

Also what we thought was a second, detached garage is actually (per the plans) a boat shed, and it has electricity and heating so it's pretty prepared to house chickens after we're done with indoor painting and floor-replacing and new kitchening and so on, which I'm pretty excited about.
